# Reissue the claim voucher of a managed account

`POST /accounts/{account}/claim-tokens`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.factuarea.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.factuarea.com/v1/accounts/{account}/claim-tokens`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Issue a NEW claim voucher for a managed account its holder has not claimed yet; pending vouchers stop working.
- Returns 201; `claim_token` and `claim_url` are shown EXACTLY ONCE, or emailed with `send_email: true`.
- `Idempotency-Key` required; 409 `provisioning_account_claimed` if already claimed.
- Requires the privileged `accounts:write` scope.

## Path parameters

- `account` string, uuid, required

## Headers

- `Idempotency-Key` string, required
- `Factuarea-Version` string, date

## Request body

- ReissueManagedAccountClaimV1Request: Optional body of the claim voucher reissue: `send_email` (`false` by default) emails the new link to the holder instead of returning the voucher in the response.
  - `send_email` boolean: Email the new claim link to the holder (`true`) or return the voucher once in the response (`false`, default).

## Response `201`

- object
  - `data` ManagedAccountClaim, required: A claim voucher just REISSUED for a managed account. It is the only time this voucher is seen: only its fingerprint is stored, and the previous one stops working.
    - `object` 'managed_account_claim', required: Always `managed_account_claim`.
    - `account_id` string, uuid, required: Opaque identifier (UUID v7) of the managed account of the voucher.
    - `claim_token` string, nullable, required: Plaintext claim voucher, returned ONCE. `null` when it was emailed to the holder (`send_email: true`) and in an idempotent replay.
    - `claim_url` string, uri, nullable, required: Claim link carrying the voucher, returned ONCE. `null` when it was emailed to the holder and in an idempotent replay.
    - `expires_at` string, date-time, nullable, required: Expiry of the voucher (ISO 8601). It is returned also when the link was emailed to the holder (`send_email: true`): the expiry is not a secret. Always set: a reissue always issues a new voucher.

## Other responses

- `400`: `parameter_unknown` with `subcode` `retired_active_profile_header`: the retired `X-Active-Profile` header was sent; the company goes in the path. `parameter_invalid_format` on `Factuarea-Version`: the header is not a `YYYY-MM-DD` date. `unsupported_api_version`: the `Factuarea-Version` date is not a supported version.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: The request is authenticated but not allowed: the API key lacks the required scope (`insufficient_scope`), the plan does not include the public API or this feature (`addon_not_active`, `feature_not_available_in_plan`), or the module is not available with a test key (`module_not_available_in_sandbox`).
- `404`: The requested resource does not exist or belongs to another company. `account_not_found`: the account in the path does not exist or is not the account of the API key.
- `409`: The request conflicts with data that already exists or with a request running at the same time. `provisioning_account_claimed`: the holder already claimed this managed account, so its voucher can no longer be reissued and its `external_ref` can no longer be provisioned again. The account belongs to its holder; read it with the retrieve operation while the management is in force.
- `422`: Validation failed, or a managed account rule rejected the operation: `managed_account_plan_not_self_serve` (`enterprise` is only assigned by Factuarea by contract), `managed_account_provider_in_trial` (a paid plan while your account is in trial), `managed_accounts_limit_reached` (the managed account limit of your account), `managed_account_not_claimable` (a test account has no claim voucher), `access_level_raise_forbidden` (once the holder claimed the account only the holder can raise your level), `enterprise_contract_transition_required` (moving to or from `enterprise` is a contract change) and `business_rule_violation` with subcode `nif_already_claimed_by_another_account` (provisioning a tax ID that already belongs to another account). The `error.param` field identifies which input is invalid, if any. `idempotency_key_reused`: the `Idempotency-Key` was already used with a different body; send a new key or the same body. `invalid_param_format` on `Idempotency-Key`: the key must be 1 to 255 printable ASCII characters. `idempotency_key_required`: this operation requires the `Idempotency-Key` header; the message names the rejected operation.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Retry after the duration in `Retry-After`.
- `500`: Unexpected server error.
