# Create share link

`POST /v1beta/documents/{document_id}/share-links`

Create a share link for a document.

## Path parameters

- `document_id` string, required — Document ID.

## Request body

- object — CreateShareLinkRequest creates a share link for a document.

## Response `200`

Success

- CreateShareLinkResponse — CreateShareLinkResponse contains the created share link.
  - `share_link` ShareLink — ShareLink represents a shareable link for a document.
    - `created_at` string, date-time — When the link was created.
    - `creator_id` string — ID of the user who created this link.
    - `document_id` string — Document ID this link belongs to.
    - `id` string — Share link ID.
  - `short_url` string, nullable — Shortened URL for the share link (if available).

## Other responses

- `400` — Invalid request parameters
- `401` — Authentication failed - missing or invalid API key
- `403` — Authorization failed - valid key but insufficient permissions
- `404` — Resource not found
- `429` — Too many requests
- `500` — Internal server error
