# Release Petri Run

`POST /api/v1/runs/{id}/petri/release`

Ends the worker's writer lease on the run when `owner` still holds
it: what a worker sends when it drops its store handle. A lease that
already moved to another owner is left alone.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- PetriReleaseRequest — A release of a Petri run's writer lease by its owner.
  - `owner` string, required — The owner id that holds the lease.

## Response `204`

Lease released, or not held by this owner
