# Revoke a link before it expires, and end any session already open on it.

`DELETE /api/devtools/links/{id}`

## Request

- The document declares no server URL.
- Auth: none declared

Takes the link's non-secret id, not its key: an operator revoking a link
they handed out should not have to keep a copy of the credential to do it,
and the id is the only part of a link that is safe to write down.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `204`

The link is gone, and so is any session on it

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication required
- `404`: No such link
