# Delete a store

`DELETE /stores/{storeId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.helloextend.com`
- URL: `https://api.helloextend.com/stores/{storeId}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Extend-Access-Token`

Soft-deletes a store within the merchant account boundary and disables it. Requires any one scope: `stores:delete`, `stores:full`, `all`.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid access token
- `403`: Scope or account boundary does not permit this request
- `404`: Store not found
