# Get Session

`GET /api/agent-chat/sessions/{session_id}`

Metadata + last_seq for client reconnect/init.

Clients call this once on page load, then open /stream?since=<last_seq>.
The `segment` object carries the segment-level lifecycle (status + paused
+ phase_entered_at) so the UI can render the status pill and input
placeholder before the first SSE event arrives.
