# Add Documents To Society

`POST /v1/societies/{society_id}/add-documents`

Add NEW documents to an EXISTING Mode 2 society, incrementally.

Same integration/scope surface as the create flow (all-access, folders,
individual files/meetings/channels) — it's just an incremental re-ingest of
the existing society. Gold extraction runs with `clear_existing=False`, so
existing personas/companies are reused and enriched, not rebuilt, and the
run inherits the society's frozen `societies.llm_stack`.

No strict server-side delta: the pipeline's Bronze dedup (an idempotent
MERGE on a deterministic `doc_id`) skips any doc already ingested BEFORE it
reaches Silver, so a re-picked doc is never re-chunked and only genuinely-new
documents enrich. `society_id` is the UUID PK, matching GET /{id}/sources.

  - `scopeByIntegration` object, required: Sources + scope to add, keyed by source slug — the SAME shape the create flow accepts: {'granola_mcp': {'mode': 'all'}} or {'googledrive': {'mode': 'selected', 'file_ids': [...], 'folder_ids': [...]}}. There is no strict delta; the pipeline's Bronze dedup skips anything already ingested before it re-chunks, so only genuinely-new documents enrich the society.
