# Edit Call Note

`PATCH /v1/compass/calls/{call_id}/note`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

The owner's edits to a call's notes; returns the whole record.

The goal can change once the call is over, the note's lines and the
insights' meanings once the note is written (409 before). The board is
rebuilt when what it shows changed.

## Path parameters

- `call_id` string, required

## Request body

- NoteEditRequest: The owner's own words for a finished call: its goal, the note's lines, and what each insight means. Only the goal and what the note job wrote can change. The quotes are the customer's words, checked against the transcript, so they stay as said: any other field is a 422, and so is an edit that changes nothing.
