# Retrieve an Acquirer

`GET /payments/acquirers/{acquirer_id}`

Retrieves an Acquirer by its unique identifier.

## Path parameters

- `acquirer_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Returns an Acquirer object.

- AcquirerConfiguration
  - `id` string, required: The unique identifier of the acquirer configuration.
  - `name` string, required: The name of the acquirer configuration.
  - `description` string: The description of the acquirer configuration.
  - `default` boolean, required
  - `configurations` object[], required: The acquirer configuration settings.
    - `network` 'visa' | 'mastercard' | 'american-express' | 'discover' | 'jcb' | 'unionpay', required: The card network of the Acquirer. `discover` covers Discover and Diners Club.
    - `bin` string, required: The Bank Identification Number (BIN) of the Acquirer. Must be 6 to 11 digits.
    - `acquirerMerchantIdentifier` string, required: The merchant identifier the configuration is associated with.
    - `state` string, required
    - `country` string, iso-3166-1-alpha-2, required: The country of the acquirer configuration, used when creating 3DS sessions.
