# Retrieve 3DS Messages

`GET /payments/3ds-sessions/{3ds_session_id}/messages`

Retrieve messages for a 3DS Session. This endpoint can be helpful for debugging 3DS sessions, providing insight into the raw 3DS messages that were exchanged between the 3DS Server and the Directory Server.

## Path parameters

- `3ds_session_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Returns 3DS messages for the session.

  - `messages` object[], required: Array of 3DS messages for the session
    - `type` string, required: The type of 3DS message (e.g., AReq, ARes, CReq, CRes, RReq, RRes)
    - `created_at` integer, required: Timestamp when the message was created
    - `data` object, required: The message data payload
