# Publicv1Matterrouter.Confirm Custom Data Upload

`POST /v1/matters/{external_matter_id}/custom-data/confirm-upload`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.eve.legal` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://app.eve.legal/v1/matters/{external_matter_id}/custom-data/confirm-upload`
- Auth: OAuth 2
  - Password
  - Token URL: `token`

Validate the file uploaded to the begin-upload URL and store it as the custom data of the matter.
Each upload replaces the earlier custom data. A 429 means that Eve is validating other large
files. Retry after the Retry-After seconds.

Successful Response

- CustomDataResponse
  - `customData` CustomData, required
    - `matterId` string, uuid, required: Eve ID of the matter
    - `sizeBytes` integer, required: Size of the stored JSON in bytes
    - `uploadedAt` string, date-time, required: Time of the last stored custom data

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Not Found
- `413`: Request Entity Too Large
- `422`: Unprocessable Entity
- `429`: Too Many Requests
