# Delete a chat in a target app (v2, tenant actor)

`DELETE /v2/apps/{appId}/chats`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.chat.ethora.com`

  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

**Auth**: Tenant Actor

Deletes a chat in the explicit target app by canonical room name.
Supports `User JWT` and `B2B Server JWT`.

## Path parameters

- `appId` string, required

## Request body

  - `name` string, required: Canonical room name / JID local part, usually `{appId}_{roomId}`.

## Response `200`

ok
