# Accept the platform terms and conditions

`POST /v1/users/terms-and-conditions`

## Request

**Auth**: User JWT

Record that the calling user has accepted the platform's terms.
Pass `agreedToTerms` (preferred); `isAgreeWithTerms` is accepted as
a deprecated alias for backward compatibility. At least one must
be set to `true`; if both are sent, `agreedToTerms` wins.

## Request body

- object
  - `agreedToTerms` boolean: Must be `true` to accept. Stored on the user record with the timestamp of acceptance.
  - `isAgreeWithTerms` boolean: **Deprecated** - kept as a backward-compatible alias for `agreedToTerms`. New integrations should use `agreedToTerms`.
  - `company` string: Optional company name to record alongside acceptance.
