# Current authenticated identity

`GET /v1/me`

## Request

Return the caller's identity profile.

Resolves the caller's own ``users`` row by actor id; 404 when the
caller has no backing user row (e.g. machine/system actors).

Args:
    db (AsyncSession): Request-scoped database session.
    context (ActiveContext): Resolved caller identity and scope.

Returns:
    UserResponse: The authenticated user's public profile.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- UserResponse: Public user profile. No ``id``: the key exists in no compatible form. It carried an integer, and ``users.id`` is a UUID with no integer counterpart — serving the UUID under the old name would answer a stored lookup with a value that silently matches nothing, where an absent key fails at the read. The multi-kind model has no single ``user_type``/``approved``/ ``onboarding`` at the user level (kinds live in ``user_kinds``, approval is per-kind), so this stays the minimal identity profile api-3's ``/me`` returned. Attributes: uuid (UUID): The user's identifier (the ``users`` UUID PK). username (str): Display username. name (str): Full display name. country (str | None): ISO country code. pic (str | None): Profile picture URL. Also served as the deprecated ``picture``.
