# Get a finding's metadata

`GET /v1/findings/{finding_id}/metadata/`

## Request

Return the metadata blob for a finding.

Machine, triager and privileged callers only: any other caller gets 403
for a finding it can read, and, like every caller, 404 for one it cannot.

Args:
    finding_id (int): Primary key of the finding.
    db (AsyncSession): Request-scoped database session.
    context (ActiveContext): Resolved caller identity and scope.

Returns:
    FindingMetadataResponse: The finding's metadata.

Successful Response

- FindingMetadataResponse: Finding metadata (the ``data`` JSONB field). Attributes: metadata (dict): Arbitrary JSON metadata.
