# Get an author

`GET /admin/api/author/{authorId}`

Returns the information of an author by their ID

## Path parameters

- `authorId` string, required

## Response `200`

OK

- AuthorAuthor — An author who can collaborate on pads
  - `colorId` string
  - `id` string
  - `name` string
  - `timestamp` integer
  - `token` string

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request
- `404` — Not Found
- `500` — Internal Server Error
