# Get target validation status

`GET /validations/{validationId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://public.escape.tech/v3`
- URL: `https://public.escape.tech/v3/validations/{validationId}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-ESCAPE-API-KEY`

Returns the current status, progress, output, and events for a validation started via `POST /validations`.

## Path parameters

- `validationId` string, uuid, required: Identifier returned by the start endpoint

  - `events` object[], required: Chronological messages from the validation, including errors
