# Get the scan event time series

`GET /scans/{scanId}/statistics/events-over-time`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://public.escape.tech/v3`
- URL: `https://public.escape.tech/v3/scans/{scanId}/statistics/events-over-time`
- Auth: API key in header `X-ESCAPE-API-KEY`

Returns the number of scanner events per time bucket for a scan. It is a wrapper over the `eventsOverTime` series already embedded in `GET /scans/{scanId}/statistics`, for clients that only need the series. Beta: the shape of a scan time series is not settled yet.

## Path parameters

- `scanId` string, required: The scan ID

## Response `200`

OK

  - `scanId` string, required: The scan ID the series belongs to
  - `data` object[], required
    - `date` string, required: The ISO 8601 start of the time bucket
    - `count` integer, required: The number of scanner events in the bucket

## Other responses

- `404`: Not found
