# Get a scan effective configuration

`GET /scans/{scanId}/configuration`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://public.escape.tech/v3`
- URL: `https://public.escape.tech/v3/scans/{scanId}/configuration`
- Auth: API key in header `X-ESCAPE-API-KEY`

Returns the configuration a scan actually ran with, as stored on the scan. Credentials, tokens, cookies, passwords and other secret values are redacted with "[REDACTED]". Vault variable references (e.g. "${API_KEY}") are never resolved to their secret value.

## Path parameters

- `scanId` string, required: The scan ID

## Response `200`

OK

- object
  - `scanId` string, uuid, required: The id of the scan
  - `configuration` object, required: The effective scanner configuration the scan actually ran with. Credentials, tokens, cookies, passwords and other secret values are replaced with "[REDACTED]"; vault variable references (e.g. "${API_KEY}") are never resolved to their secret value.
