# Delete a project

`DELETE /projects/{projectId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://public.escape.tech/v3`
- URL: `https://public.escape.tech/v3/projects/{projectId}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-ESCAPE-API-KEY`

Schedule a project for deletion. The project is removed asynchronously by a background job; it remains readable until then.
