# Get current user context

`GET /me`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://public.escape.tech/v3`
- URL: `https://public.escape.tech/v3/me`
- Auth: API key in header `X-ESCAPE-API-KEY`

Get basic information about the authenticated user and current organization, including subscription and trial state.

## Response `200`

    - `id` string, uuid, required: The id of the current user
    - `email` string, email, required: The email of the current user
  - `organization` object, required
    - `id` string, uuid, required: The id of the current organization
    - `name` string, required: The name of the current organization
    - `mailboxId` string, required: The id of the scan inbox mailbox of the current organization
    - `paying` boolean, required: Whether the organization is on a paid subscription
    - `expiresAt` string, date-time, required: The date and time the current subscription or trial expires
