# Bollinger Bands — a moving average with ± standard-deviation envelopes — over a stock's daily closes, newest first. Extra look-back bars are fetched before the window so in-range points are fully computed; bands are null only when the stock's history itself is shorter than the period. On the Free plan a session's bars are released 4 hours after the market close.

OK

- BollingerBandsResponse
  - `ticker` string, nullable: The resolved listing: a bare US ticker, or MIC:TICKER for a listing on another exchange.
  - `companyName` string, nullable
  - `exchange` string, nullable: The ISO 10383 market identifier code of a listing outside the US; absent for a US listing.
  - `currency` string, nullable: ISO 4217 code of every price in the response, in major units (pounds, not pence).
  - `period` integer
  - `stdDev` number, double
  - `data` BollingerBandPointDto[], nullable
    - `date` string, date
    - `close` number, double
    - `lower` number, double, nullable
    - `middle` number, double, nullable
    - `upper` number, double, nullable
  - `meta` TechnicalsMeta: Row accounting for a technical-indicator response, so truncation at the point cap is detectable instead of reading like the series simply ends.
    - `returned` integer: Points returned in `data`.
    - `windowPoints` integer: Computable points inside the requested window (warm-up look-back bars are excluded).
    - `truncated` boolean: True when `returned` < `windowPoints` — raise `limit` (max 500) or narrow the date range to see the older points.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
