# Every covered US stock index, with the state of the constituent list published for it. A list is published only once a tracking fund's filing reaches us whole, so constituentCount is 0 and asOfDate null while none is complete.

`GET /v1/indexes`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.equibles.com`
- URL: `https://api.equibles.com/v1/indexes`
- Auth: HTTP bearer
- TypeScript: <https://skmtc.dev/equibles/apis/equibles-api/docs/v1/indexes/get.ts> (a function with typed inputs; its response is checked against the schema)

## Response `200`

OK

- IndexSummaryDtoListResponse
  - `listingNotice` ListingNotice: What happened to a requested ticker that no longer trades. "delisted": the company has no current US listing, so the answer is its history. "renamed": the company now trades as successorTicker, its current US presentation ticker (possibly another share class). A listed series (short volume, short interest, off-exchange volume, fails-to-deliver, congressional trades) is the retired ticker's own; a company-level read is the company's data.
    - `status` string, nullable: "delisted" or "renamed".
    - `ticker` string, nullable: The retired ticker as listed.
    - `delistedOn` string, date, nullable: The day the retired listing stopped trading, when known.
    - `successorTicker` string, nullable: For "renamed", the company's current US presentation ticker; null for "delisted".
  - `data` IndexSummaryDto[], nullable
    - `slug` string, nullable: URL and query key for this index ("sp-500", "nasdaq-100").
    - `name` string, nullable
    - `provider` string, nullable: The organisation that publishes the index ("S&P Dow Jones Indices").
    - `forecastable` boolean: Whether the index publishes quantitative entry rules we can apply. The Dow does not.
    - `constituentCount` integer: Companies in the published list, or 0 while no complete list is held.
    - `asOfDate` string, date, nullable: The date the published list was reported for, or null while none is published.
    - `source` string, nullable: The fund and filing the published list came from, in one sentence.
    - `isDaily` boolean: True when the published list came from a fund's daily holdings file or an exchange's daily published list rather than a quarterly filing.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request — a malformed parameter value or a query parameter this endpoint does not support.
