# Companies that joined or left an index, newest first. Derived by comparing consecutive lists from the funds that track it, so each change is dated to the window between two reports (previousAsOfDate to observedAsOfDate) rather than to an announcement. Records from several funds for the same company and direction over overlapping windows are collapsed into one event, keeping the narrowest window.

`GET /v1/indexes/{index}/changes`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.equibles.com`
- URL: `https://api.equibles.com/v1/indexes/{index}/changes`
- Auth: HTTP bearer
- TypeScript: <https://skmtc.dev/equibles/apis/equibles-api/docs/v1/indexes/:index/changes/get.ts> (a function with typed inputs; its response is checked against the schema)

## Path parameters

- `index` string, required

## Query parameters

- `limit` integer
- `offset` integer

## Response `200`

OK

- IndexChangeDtoPagedResponse
  - `listingNotice` ListingNotice: What happened to a requested ticker that no longer trades. "delisted": the company has no current US listing, so the answer is its history. "renamed": the company now trades as successorTicker, its current US presentation ticker (possibly another share class). A listed series (short volume, short interest, off-exchange volume, fails-to-deliver, congressional trades) is the retired ticker's own; a company-level read is the company's data.
    - `status` string, nullable: "delisted" or "renamed".
    - `ticker` string, nullable: The retired ticker as listed.
    - `delistedOn` string, date, nullable: The day the retired listing stopped trading, when known.
    - `successorTicker` string, nullable: For "renamed", the company's current US presentation ticker; null for "delisted".
  - `data` IndexChangeDto[], nullable
    - `direction` string, nullable: "Added" or "Removed".
    - `name` string, nullable
    - `ticker` string, nullable: The company's ticker, or null when the row could not be matched to a tracked company.
    - `isLinked` boolean
    - `observedAsOfDate` string, date: The date of the report the change was first seen in.
    - `previousAsOfDate` string, date: The date of the previous report, so the change is dated to a window and not to an announcement.
    - `weight` number, double: The company's weight in the index at the observed report, as a fraction.
    - `sourceCount` integer: How many tracking funds reported this change; several funds track one index.
  - `meta` PageMeta
    - `limit` integer
    - `offset` integer
    - `count` integer
    - `hasMore` boolean
    - `total` integer, nullable
