# Geo Location

`GET /api/geo/location`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://epw.tools`
- URL: `https://epw.tools/api/geo/location`
- Auth: none declared

Approximate lat/lon for the CLIENT's IP (best-effort, no key).

Geolocates the *requesting browser's* IP — resolved via _get_client_ip so
it honours Cloudflare's CF-Connecting-IP header — NOT the server's own
outbound IP. (Geolocating the server returned the host's datacentre for
every visitor, which is useless as a "your location" default.) A
private/loopback client (local dev) or a spoofed/garbage header falls back
to letting the provider geolocate the request origin, which is the best we
can do there. Tries ip-api.com then ipinfo.io.
