# POST /appcharts/push

`POST /appcharts/push`

## Request

- Base URL: `/api/v1` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/api/v1/appcharts/push`
- Auth: HTTP basic

Upload a helm chart archive. It is pushed to Epinio's registry, and a new appchart
referencing it is created. For the name of an appchart pushed before, which no application uses, its chart is replaced.

## Request body `multipart/form-data`

- object
  - `file` string, binary: The chart archive (.tgz)
  - `name` string: Name of the appchart to create
  - `description` string: Long description of the appchart
  - `short_description` string: Short description of the appchart

## Response `200`

- AppChartPushResponse: AppChartPushResponse is the server's response to a successful push of a chart archive. It names the application chart created for the pushed chart, and where the chart was stored.
  - `helm_chart` string
  - `helm_repo` string
  - `name` string
