# Get Account

`GET /v1/account`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ensemble.markets` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Identity, plan and collection sizes for the authenticated account.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- Account: Identity and holdings of the account behind the current credential.
  - `user_id` string, required: WorkOS user id (user_01...)
  - `email` string, nullable: Account email (null if the identity provider is unreachable)
  - `name` string, nullable: Display name (null if the identity provider is unreachable)
  - `plan` string, required: Billing plan: starter | hobby | business
  - `auth_method` 'api_key' | 'jwt', required: How this request authenticated: api_key (an ensemble_ key) or jwt (an AuthKit session or OAuth token). A stale OAuth session and a correct key can name different accounts.
  - `role` 'admin' | 'member', required: admin when this user id is on the server admin allowlist; member otherwise. An admin's explicit reports can be fixed without a separate approval. This field does not grant approval: approving a fix requires the admin dashboard.
  - `counts` AccountCounts, required: Sizes of the account's collections.
    - `models` AccountModelCounts, required: Model counts by structure.
      - `total` integer, required: Total models
      - `direct` integer, required: Models that hold assets only
      - `composite` integer, required: Models that hold other models
    - `backfills` integer, required: Number of backfill rules
    - `optimizers` integer, required: Number of stored optimizer classes

## Other responses

- `4XX`: The request was refused; `error.type` says why
- `5XX`: The server failed; quote `X-Request-Id` when reporting it
