# Update the estimate for this system.

`PUT /api/v4/activations/{activation_id}/estimate`

Updates the estimate for this system.

## Path parameters

- `activation_id` integer, required

## Request body `application/x-www-form-urlencoded`

- object
  - `degrade_factor` string, required: The annual production degradation factor for the system, from year 0 of the system's life. Must be 0.0% or higher.
  - `month_estimates` string[], required: The estimated monthly production of the system, in kWh. A value for each month must be provided, and must be greater than 0. Send an empty array if you need to remove monthly estimates.

  - `month_estimates` string[]: The estimated monthly production of the system, in kWh

- `401`: Unauthorized

- `422`: Unprocessable entity. The body contains error information in a hash of errorMessages and an optional errorCode
