# Finish the itinerary

`POST /api/v2/itineraries/{externalId}/finish`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.endlesstravelplans.com`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

The Build step's "Continue to Review": the plan is saved for good and the row is marked finished. The
owner or an accepted editor; an empty plan answers 422.

## Other responses

- `401`: unauthenticated: No valid bearer token was sent.
- `403`: forbidden: The caller is signed in but may not do this.
- `422`
- `429`: rate_limited: A throttle or a per-account allowance refused the request; `retry_after` or `remaining` may be present.
- `500`: server_error: Unhandled failure; quote `request_id` to support.
