# Start pricing

`POST /api/v2/budgets/{externalId}/price`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.endlesstravelplans.com`
- URL: `https://www.endlesstravelplans.com/api/v2/budgets/{externalId}/price`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

`mode` is `start` (price a budget not yet priced; a priced one answers completed at once), `recheck` (fresh
numbers, the quota is asked first), `retry` (after a failure) or `update` (the newer method, only when on
offer). Answers the pricing state; poll `GET .../pricing` until it is completed or failed.

- `401`: unauthenticated: No valid bearer token was sent.

- `429`: rate_limited: A throttle or a per-account allowance refused the request; `retry_after` or `remaining` may be present.
- `500`
