# Forgot password

`POST /api/v2/auth/password/forgot`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.endlesstravelplans.com`
- URL: `https://www.endlesstravelplans.com/api/v2/auth/password/forgot`
- Auth: none required

Mails a reset link when the address belongs to an account. The answer is always `200 {"sent": true}`, so
the call cannot be used to find out which addresses have accounts. Guest accounts are never mailed.
Rate limited per address and per IP.
