# Privacy settings

`PUT /api/v2/account/privacy`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.endlesstravelplans.com`
- URL: `https://www.endlesstravelplans.com/api/v2/account/privacy`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Sets the named privacy settings and leaves the others as they were. The body is a map of setting name to
true or false: `profile_visibility`, `trip_sharing`, `activity_tracking`, `marketing_communications`,
`data_analytics`. At least one; a name not in that list is a 422. Closed to guests.

- `401`: unauthenticated: No valid bearer token was sent.
- `422`
- `429`: rate_limited: A throttle or a per-account allowance refused the request; `retry_after` or `remaining` may be present.
- `500`: server_error: Unhandled failure; quote `request_id` to support.
