# Remove a role from a user

`DELETE /api/users/{userId}/roles/{roleName}`

Removes the specified role from a user. Admin-only access.

## Path parameters

- `userId` integer, required
- `roleName` string, required

## Response `200`

Role removed successfully.

- RemoveRoleResponse — Response for removing a role from a user.
  - `message` string

## Other responses

- `400` — Invalid request or role removal failed.
- `401` — Unauthorized
- `403` — Forbidden
