# Forgot password

`POST /api/account/forgot-password`

Sends a password reset email to the user.

## Request body

- ForgotPasswordRequest
  - `email` string, email, required

## Response `200`

Password reset email sent successfully.

  - `message` string

- `400` — Invalid request or email.
