# Create a structure

`POST /v1/property_inspections/{property_inspection_id}/structures`

## Request body

- StructureRequest: A `Structure` represents a building which contains `Room`s. When a `PropertyClaim` or `PropertyInspection` is created, a primary `Structure` is automatically created.
  - `name` string, required: The name of the `Structure`.

## Response `200`

The `Structure` was created successfully.

- StructureResponse: A `Structure` represents a building which contains `Room`s. When a `PropertyClaim` or `PropertyInspection` is created, a primary `Structure` is automatically created.
  - `id` integer, required
  - `name` string, required: The name of the `Structure`.

## Other responses

- `400`: Error processing request.
- `401`: Authentication error.
- `404`: Requested resource does not exist.
