# Pause an email campaign

`POST /emails/campaigns/{campaignId}/pause`

## Request

> **Deprecated.**

Pauses a RUNNING campaign (status PAUSED) and clears its scheduled jobs. Errors if the campaign is not RUNNING. New integrations should use the multichannel /advanced campaign endpoints instead.
