# Remove a contact from an email campaign

`DELETE /emails/campaign/contacts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.emelia.io`
- URL: `https://api.emelia.io/emails/campaign/contacts`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

> **Deprecated.**

Removes the contact whose email matches from the campaign (id). Use id='ALL_CAMPAIGNS' to remove the email from every non-archived campaign. Note: the body field is 'email' (not 'contact'). New integrations should use the multichannel /advanced campaign endpoints instead.

## Request body

  - `id` string, required: Campaign ObjectId, or 'ALL_CAMPAIGNS'.
  - `email` string, email, required

## Response `200`

Contact removed (always success:true, even if no contact matched).

## Other responses

- `400`: Business or validation error. 400 by default; Joi validation errors carry code INVALID_REQUEST.
