# The Markdown representation of any page on this site

`GET /api/markdown/{path}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.emailchaser.com`
- URL: `https://www.emailchaser.com/api/markdown/{path}`
- Auth: none required

Normally reached by content negotiation rather than by name: send `Accept: text/markdown` to any page URL, or append `.md` to it. Responses carry `Vary: Accept`.

## Path parameters

- `path` string, required

## Response `200`

The page as Markdown, with YAML front matter.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request body was missing or invalid.
- `404`: No such page. The body is a Markdown recovery map.
- `405`: Wrong HTTP method. The Allow header lists the right one.
- `502`: An upstream service failed.
