# Get Session Image

`GET /v1/sessions/{session_id}/images/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ellipsis.dev`

Return an image sent with a message to the session.

Each message lists its images, with their IDs, in `images`.

## Path parameters

- `session_id` string, required
- `id` string, required

- `user-agent` string, nullable

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ImageAttachment: One image on a request body, base64 inline (the Claude Code paste shape). Shared by `POST /v1/sessions` and `POST /v1/sessions/{id}/messages`.
  - `data` string, required: The raw image bytes, base64-encoded. 5 MiB cap.
  - `media_type` 'image/png' | 'image/jpeg' | 'image/gif' | 'image/webp', required: The image's MIME type: image/png, image/jpeg, image/gif, or image/webp. The bytes must match.

## Other responses

- `401`: The bearer token is missing, invalid, or revoked.
- `403`: The credential may not perform this action, or the account is blocked.
- `404`: No such session or image in your account.
- `422`: Validation Error
