# Set Organization Settings

`PUT /v1/account/settings`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ellipsis.dev`

Set the organization settings.

`budget_ceiling.session` is in millicents, at most the platform
ceiling, and null clears it.
Refused for session tokens (potentially prompt-injected code must
not raise the organization's ceiling).

## Request body

- OrganizationSettings: The organization-wide session settings: the ceilings every session in the account resolves against.
  - `budget_ceiling` BudgetCeiling: The organization's spend ceilings, in millicents.
    - `session` integer, nullable: The most a single session may be budgeted, in millicents, as a whole number of cents. A session request or agent asking for more is refused with 400. Null means the platform ceiling applies.

Successful Response

- OrganizationSettings: The organization-wide session settings: the ceilings every session in the account resolves against.
  - `budget_ceiling` BudgetCeiling: The organization's spend ceilings, in millicents.
    - `session` integer, nullable: The most a single session may be budgeted, in millicents, as a whole number of cents. A session request or agent asking for more is refused with 400. Null means the platform ceiling applies.

## Other responses

- `400`: The budget ceiling is not positive or exceeds the platform's.
- `401`: The bearer token is missing, invalid, or revoked.
- `403`: The credential may not perform this action, or the account is blocked.
- `422`: Validation Error
