# Get Account Billing

`GET /v1/account/billing`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ellipsis.dev`
- URL: `https://api.ellipsis.dev/v1/account/billing`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Explain whether your account can start sessions.

Uses the same account gate as session admission, including credit
and contact email. Scoped spend limits are reported separately by
/v1/account/budget.

Successful Response

- BillingStatus
  - `workflows_block_reason` 'canceled' | 'out_of_credit' | 'blocked' | 'contact_email_required', nullable, required: The account gate's reason for blocking new sessions, or null. Does not include viewer-specific blocks or scoped spend limits.

## Other responses

- `401`: The bearer token is missing, invalid, or revoked.
- `403`: The credential may not perform this action, or the account is blocked.
- `422`: Validation Error
