# Create Api Key

`POST /v1/account/api-keys`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.ellipsis.dev`
- URL: `https://api.ellipsis.dev/v1/account/api-keys`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Create an organization key. Requires a verified GitHub administrator.

Authenticate as a dashboard user or with a user token. An organization
API key cannot create other keys. The secret is returned only once.

  - `api_key` ApiKeyApi, required: A key as shown in listings -- never includes the secret.

    - `name` string, required
    - `revoked_at` string, nullable, required
  - `secret` string, required

## Other responses

- `401`: The bearer token is missing, invalid, or revoked.
- `403`: The credential may not perform this action, or the account is blocked.
- `422`: Validation Error
