# Set new-lease pricing for units

`PATCH /v2/properties/{property_id}/units/pricing`

## Request

Sets new-lease pricing for units in a property.

Each unit's `prices` is its full price grid by lease term and lease start date,
and replaces whatever was stored for that unit. Units not in the request are unchanged.

Only properties that use Elise as their PMS (AIP) accept these writes.

All-or-nothing: if any unit is invalid (unknown, inactive, or not in this property)
the request fails with 422 listing every invalid unit, and nothing is written. Resending the same request is safe.

- UnitPricingRequest
  - `unit_prices` UnitPricingEntry[], required: Per-unit price grids
    - `unit_id` string, required: Elise unit ID, as returned by the Units v2 API
    - `prices` LeasePrice[], required: Full price grid for the unit
      - `term_months` integer, required: Lease term length in months
      - `lease_start_date` string, date, required: Lease start date this price applies to
      - `rent` number, required: Monthly rent for this term and start date

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- UnitWriteResponse: Response for a successful bulk write. Requests are all-or-nothing: any invalid unit fails the request with 422.
  - `updated` string[], required: Unit IDs that were written, in request order

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - invalid parameters
- `401`: Unauthorized - invalid or missing API key
- `403`: Forbidden - insufficient permissions, or property is not AIP
- `409`: Property does not allow this rent field to be set through the API; nothing is written
- `422`: Validation error, including any invalid unit; nothing is written
- `500`: Internal server error
- `503`: Another pricing write for this property is in progress; retry
