# Retrieve Speaker Separation Status

`GET /v1/voices/pvc/{voice_id}/samples/{sample_id}/speakers`

Retrieve the status of the speaker separation process and the list of detected speakers if complete.

## Path parameters

- `voice_id` string, required: Voice ID to be used, you can use https://api.elevenlabs.io/v1/voices to list all the available voices.
- `sample_id` string, required: Sample ID to be used

## Headers

- `xi-api-key` string, nullable: Your API key. This is required by most endpoints to access our API programmatically. You can view your xi-api-key using the 'Profile' tab on the website.

  - `sample_id` string, required: The ID of the sample.
  - `status` 'not_started' | 'pending' | 'completed' | 'failed', required: The status of the speaker separation.
  - `speakers` object, nullable: The speakers of the sample.
  - `selected_speaker_ids` string[], nullable: The IDs of the selected speakers.
