# Open a completed fitting in ELDRICK Lab

`POST /v1/fittings/{fittingId}/lab-handoff`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.eldrick.com`

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://api.eldrick.com/oauth/authorize`, token URL `https://api.eldrick.com/oauth/token`, scopes: `fittings:read`)

Creates a 15-minute, signed Lab URL for a completed fitting owned by the authenticated API account. The URL contains no API credentials or account identity.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Fitting not found
- `422`: Fitting is not complete
- `503`: Lab handoff is not configured
