# Get assets by ISIN

`POST /assets`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.elbstream.com`
- URL: `https://api.elbstream.com/assets`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Retrieve asset information for up to 100 ISINs. Only active assets are returned, in the order of the ISINs you provide. Each asset includes its name, type, description, and other identifiers such as FIGIs, tickers, and WKNs. ISINs with no match are omitted; if none match, data is an empty array. Descriptions are available in English (en, default) and German (de). If the requested translation is unavailable, description is null.

## Request body

- object
  - `isins` string[], required: ISINs to look up (1–100 entries). Lowercase letters and surrounding spaces are accepted. Repeated values count toward the limit but do not repeat results.
  - `lang` 'en' | 'de': Language for descriptions: English (en) or German (de). Missing translations return null.

## Response `200`

Assets retrieved successfully

- object
  - `data` object[], required: Assets found for the supplied ISINs, in the same order. ISINs with no match are omitted.
    - `id` string, uuid, required: Unique Elbstream ID for this asset
    - `identifier` string, required: ISIN of the asset
    - `type` string, required: Type of the asset
    - `name` string, required: Display name of the asset
    - `description` string, nullable, required: Description in the requested language, or null when unavailable
    - `secondary_identifiers` object[], required: Other available identifiers for this asset, such as FIGIs, tickers, and WKNs. Empty when none are available.
      - `type` string, required: Identifier system, for example figi, ticker, or wkn
      - `value` string, required: Identifier value in the specified system
      - `exchange` string, nullable, required: Exchange associated with this identifier, or null when unavailable

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request body
- `401`: Unauthorized - Missing API key
- `403`: Forbidden - Invalid or inactive API key
