# Delete a logging destination

`DELETE /observability-destination/{id}`

## Request

Deletes a logging destination. Irreversible, including the stored credentials — forwarding stops at once. To pause instead, PATCH `is_active: false`. The audit log itself is unaffected. Requires `logging:manage`.
