# Start Session

`POST /v1/auth/session`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.elaan.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

Select or switch to a tenant: verify the user's membership and mint an
access token scoped to that tenant. `remember` sets it as their default.

## Headers

- `authorization` string, nullable

## Request body

- SessionRequest: Select/switch to an account: mint an access token scoped to this tenant. `remember` makes it the user's default account for next login.
  - `tenant_id` string, required
  - `remember` boolean

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- AccessTokenResponse
  - `access_token` string, required
  - `token_type` string

## Other responses

- `403`: Not a member of that tenant
- `422`: Validation Error
