# Preview Invitation

`GET /v1/auth/invitations/{token}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.elaan.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.elaan.io/v1/auth/invitations/{token}`
- Auth: none declared

Public: what the accept page shows before acceptance. Only resolves a
*pending* token (a used/revoked one is a 404, so a spent link leaks nothing).
`user_exists` tells the console whether to ask for a password (new user) or
prompt sign-in (existing user).

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- InvitationPreviewResponse: What the accept page shows before acceptance: which account + role, and whether the invited email already has a user (so the console knows to ask for a password vs. prompt sign-in). Served for a valid pending token only. `tenant_id` is included so the console can label the account it auto-logs the invitee into after acceptance (the invitee is joining it — not sensitive).
