# Accept Invitation As Existing User

`POST /v1/auth/invitations/{token}/accept-existing`

## Request

Accept an invite as an already-registered user who is signed in (the
'log-in-first' path). The signed-in user must BE the invited address. Adds the
membership (not their default — they keep the tenant they were in) + marks the
invite accepted, then mints a token switched into the joined tenant.

## Other responses

- `403`: This invite was sent to a different email
- `404`: No such invitation
- `409`: Already accepted/revoked, or already a member
- `422`: Expired invitation
